Here are a list of great reading to get started yourself, or to discuss in reading groups with your co-workers, your community, or in any type of political organization or advocacy group.

A great place to get started, although it is focused mainly on U.S issues, is the pamphlet Economics for the_99% prepared by the Center for Popular Economics.

Good readings to get started on Marxism are Marx for Beginners and Marx’s Kapital for Beginners. Afterwards you may watch more advanced lectures such as David Harvey’s Reading Marx’s Capital discussion videos.

Or you might want to read Ernest Mandel’s An Introduction to Marxist Economic Theory, and check his other works as well in the Ernest Mandel Internet Archive.

Another excellent site to find political educational material is the Marxist Internet Archive, and be sure to visit their Marxist Encyclopedia.
